Which Size Do I Need?

The Selection Soft Thumb Support is available in five sizes. To find your size, you must measure the circumference of your wrist:

Size	Wrist Circumference
Extra Small	<13cm
Small	13 – 15cm
Medium	15 – 17cm
Large	17 – 20cm
Extra Large	>20cm

Which Model Should I Choose?

The Allard Selection Thumb Support is available in a number of colours and functions. The Rigid Support offers greater stability due to a non-elasticated thumb section, whilst the Soft Support offers greater mobility due to a fully-elasticated thumb section.

What Are the Indications for the Selection Soft Thumb Support?

The Selection Soft Thumb Support is designed to restrict injured and torn tendons and joints in order to maintain full recovery. As such, the support is appropriate for the following conditions:

• Rheumatic arthritis
• Post-trauma
• Inflammation
• Hyper mobile thumb and wrist
• Post-arthroplasty surgery and attritional wear

How Do You Fit the Selection Soft Thumb Support?

1. Check that the support is complete and without damage.
2. Attach the thumb strap and place the opening over the thumb with the orthosis towards the back of the hand.
3. Pull the strap around the wrist and secure.
4.  Adjust the strap around the thumb so it feels comfortable.
5. Adjust for comfort.

Washing Instructions

1. Close all Velcro prior to laundering.
2. Machine wash in 40°C gentle cycle.
3. Use a washing bag. 
4. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
