Available in a range of different sizes, the Arm and Knee Immobiliser features straps and removeable stays to help immobilise a joint following an injury or operation.

What Sizes is the Immobilising Arm Brace for Children Available In?

In order to determine which size Immobiliser is right for your child, we recommend taking two quick and easy measurements around two different parts of the arm. Firstly, take a fabric tape measure and measure the circumference of your child’s upper forearm and lower forearm area.

Once you have these measurements, please consult the sizing chart beneath to find the correct size for your child:

Sizing Tips and Tricks

• If you fall between sizes, we recommend selecting the larger of the two options
• Velcro straps provide adjustability as and when required, allowing you to tighten or loosen the brace accordingly

What Does the Arm and Leg Immobilisation Brace Do?

Designed to limit movement in young children, the Arm and Leg Immobiliser is fitted to restrict the range of motion the arm or leg has. Easy to apply, the attached Velcro fastening straps allow you to tailor the fit to meet the unique size of your child’s arm or leg.

How Easy is This Arm Immobiliser to Adjust?

The adjustable hook-and-loop straps make this arm immobiliser extremely easy to tailor to your child’s precise size. This makes it comfortable to wear and provided the ideal level of support. 

Can the Stays Be Removed?

Yes, the stays in the Promedics Paediatric Wrist Support are not stitched in and can be removed easily. If your child’s condition requires a more flexible fit, quickly and easily slide the splinted stays out via the entry slots located at the foot of the brace to form a lighter, less rigid support.

Care Instructions

This immobiliser us categorised as a medical device, and is designed for repeated use, but should only be used by one patient. To help maintain hygiene, you can hand wash the support before flattening it out to air dry. To avoid damage, do not tumble dry, dry clean, bleach or iron your support.
