What Is the LimbO Foot Protector Made Of?

The protector comprises of closed cell neoprene with bonded nylon fabric outer layer and opaque garment body. These materials prevent moisture from entering either through the garment itself, or from the top.

Will the LimbO Protector Fit My Foot?

The LimbO Foot Protector is available in two sizes, Small and Medium/Large. To find the right fit for your foot, it’s important to consider two factors:

1. The circumference of your ankle – please measure just above the ankle and consult the table below. It’s important that the seal fits your ankle as tightly as possible.
2. The maximum circumference of the cast or dressing – the seal is quite stretchy, but please make sure the maximum stretch of your chosen size will fit over the cast.

Can I Take a Bath with the LimbO Cover?

While the LimbO Protector is designed to be completely airtight, it is not suitable for bathing or swimming. The cover will protect your dressing even during a longer shower, but leaving it fully submerged in water for prolonged periods will potentially cause the seal to leak.

The LimbO should also not be worn for more than 20 to 30 minutes at a time. This is because the trapped air can get quite warm, which causes condensation.

Can I Use the LimbO Foot Protector with Any Cast or Dressing?

The LimbO Foot Protector is available in two sizes, Small and Medium/Large, which can stretch up to 13″ and 16″ respectively. This means that you can use the protector on any cast or bandage that has a maximum circumference of either 13″ or 16″. Before making a purchase, please make sure the seal will definitely fit over your cast or dressing.
