Which Size Should I Choose?
The Paediatric Ankle Splint is available in three sizes to fit most children based on their ankle circumference. Once you’ve measured your child’s ankle, you can match their circumference up to the table below. Choose the size up from the circumference of the ankle.
| Size | Max. Ankle Width (Inches) | Max. Ankle Width (cm) |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 6.75″ | 16cm |
| Medium | 8″ | 20cm |
| Large | 9.5″ | 24cm |

How Do I Fit the Paediatric Ankle Splint?
The splint is designed to be easy to fit, with simple hook-and-loop fasteners which can be looped through the notches and pulled tight to a level that suits the wearer. The brace features three of these straps, ensuring a secure fit on all parts of the splint.
How Does the Paediatric Splint Work?
The splint is designed to support all areas of the foot and ankle, preventing movement and providing stability. It reduces strain felt on the ankle, giving it the time and space to recover. It also reduces pain by taking away the pressure that the ankle feels while on the move.
What Ages Is the Universal Splint For?
There isn’t an age limit on the brace. We would recommend measuring the circumference of your child’s ankle, and if it is above 24cm, then the brace will not fit.
