Who Is the Air T Hand Orthosis For?
The Air T Hand Orthosis has been designed for patients with contractures in the fingers and wrists after neurological diseases or CVA. It can provide tonus reduction and support to the MCP joints.
How Does the Air T Hand Orthosis Work?
The Pucci Air T Hand Orthosis attaches securely to the hand to provide support and relief. The anatomical bladder can be adjusted to suit the patient, and also provides thumb support. As the bladder is inflated after application, it provides individual support to the MCP joints and increases wrist extension.
How Comfortable Is the Air T Hand Orthosis?
The Air T Hand Orthosis features adjustable straps that are lined with microfibers to offer improved levels of comfort. They can be trimmed individually for a more accurate fit, and the hook-and-loop closures mean they can be positioned more optimal comfort and practicality.
The platform can be adjusted to follow the progress of the patient. This will be useful for monitoring developments and changes in movement.
