Rolyan Incremental Wrist Hinge

The Rolyan Incremental Wrist Hinge is an incrementally adjustable wrist hinge that can be either free moving with end range blocking or static to help prevent stress on healing tendons and nerves. Ideal for four-strand tendon repair protocol and rehabilitation after a variety of injuries, this hinge provides an excellent solution for controlling wrist movement as needed.

Indications of the Rolyan Incremental Wrist Hinge

The Incremental Wrist Hinge is suitable for a number of indications:

• Wrist fractures and dislocations
• Fractures at the base of MCP (metacarpophalangeal) joints
• Stiff wrists or wrist contractures
• Following tendon and nerve repairs
• Following carpal tunnel release

How Can the Hinge Be Adjusted?

The Rolyan Incremental Wrist Hinge is adjustable from full extension to full flexion in increments of 10°, which are marked on the hinge. It attaches to a two part splint base (not included) to position the wrist in the desired amount of flexion or extension. An adjustment screw provides simple adjustment.

Screwdriver Attachment

The Rolyan Incremental Wrist Hinge is supplied in a package including the metal wrist hinge itself, adjustment screws and attachment screws. The hinge, which must be placed on the radial side, attaches with a screwdriver. The length of the hinge adjusts to accommodate hands of various sizes.
