Rolyan Pre-Formed Perforated Functional Position Hand Splint with Strapping

The Rolyan Pre-Formed Perforated Functional Position Hand Splint with Strapping is designed to hold the hand in a functional position at approximately 30° of wrist extension, neutral deviation, 35° of MCP flexion and 20° of PIP and DIP flexion. This splint features strapping for a secure and intimate fit, ensuring patient comfort and compliance.

Polyform 3.2mm Material

This splint is pre-formed from perforated Polyform 3.2mm material. As well as providing an intimate fit for reduced pressure areas and splint migration, perforated Polyform allows a high level of ventilation for improved comfort in hot and/or humid environments.

Application of the Pre-Formed Perforated Functional Position Splint

All Rolyan pre-formed functional positioning splints are made from low temperature thermoplastic materials that can be modified easily for a custom fit. Simply use a heat gun or hot water to adapt the material.

As these splints are supplied fully-formed, they come in specific left and right hand models. Please make sure to select the correct model for your needs when purchasing. 

Sizing of the Pre-Formed Perforated Functional Position Splint

The Rolyan Pre-Formed Perforated Functional Position Hand Splint with Strapping is available in three different sizes. To find your size, simply follow the diagram below, measuring across the second to the fifth MCP joints, and compare to the measurements provided in the table.
