How Thick Is the Gel Liner?

The Silipos Gel Liner features a cushioning layer of medical grade mineral oil gel between multiples layers of cotton, nylon and cotton fabric that’s soft on skin. The thickness of the liner will differ slightly between the 3 ply version and the 5 ply version, but both will be roughly 3mm in thickness.

Is There Any Gel In Contact With Skin?

No, all gel is contained between fabric layers, so there is no exposed gel in direct contact with skin.

Why Are Circumference Measurements Shown As a Range?

The circumference measurements in the table above are shown as a range (for example, 18 – 28cm) to represent the elastication of the liner. For instance, the distal circumference of the Short/Regular 3 Ply liner will be 18cm before any stretching, and 28cm when fully stretched.
